“MathemaTackle” is a software developed by “TacklED” for the purpose of helping users tackle their shortcomings in mental math through daily practice and targeted statistics that track progress. The following policy outlines the privacy practices of “TacklED” & “MathemaTackle” and the security measures we take to protect your data. Your security and data privacy is our number one priority at “TacklED” & “MathemaTackle”. The following privacy policy pertains to “MathemaTackle”, but may also be applied broadly to other products and services to be developed in the future by "TacklED". For the following policies and notices, “sensitive” data is defined as your account credentials (the password you use to login to "TacklED" products, such as "MathemaTackle") and “non-sensitive” is defined as any other data (such as a user's username and in-app statistics or analytics that are tailored to that user).
 

“TacklED” and “MathemaTackle” will not sell any of your data.
 

When you sign up to “MathemaTackle”, you give certain information voluntarily. This includes your:
 

• Name

• Username

• Email address

• Any other information you enter into the app (custom tasks, etc.)
   

We use this information to provide you with the best possible experience. “MathemaTackle” does not collect any payment information or payment-related information from users. For more information on how “TacklED” & “MathemaTackle” collects data and permissions please contact the “TacklED” team (contact information below).

By signing up to "MathemaTackle" and other future "TacklED" products and services, you are giving permission for in-app statistics or analytics to be associated with your specific account. Aside from the "score" statistic that is showcased on global leaderboards, all individual statistics are kept hidden from other users to foster privacy and a respectful learning environment. Additionally, the actual names of users are kept hidden, and in-app usernames are displayed instead.

We solely use this collected information to provide you with our “TacklED” products and services. If reason occurs (such as a bug or a help request), “TacklED” may view your “non-sensitive” data with the sole purposes of continuing to provide the best possible experience and assist you in fixing the error and only with your explicit permission. “TacklED” cannot (because of end-to-end encryption) and will not view your “sensitive” data (passwords).
 

“MathemaTackle” is currently a free iOS application to be made available on the Apple App Store.

Security Information:
Your “sensitive” data is end-to-end encrypted, split across both your client device and our servers so that access to both your device and our servers is required. This means that even the “TacklED” development team does not have access to and cannot view your “sensitive” data (as someone would require both the client device, say your phone, and our server’s database, a “Google” database, in order decrypt your information). Your “non-sensitive” data is secured in a “Google Firebase” database.
 

Deleting your data:
Signing out of “MathemaTackle” automatically deletes your “sensitive” data from your device, and therefore permanently unlinks your account from “MathemaTackle” until you relink it via your “sensitive” password. Deleting your “MathemaTackle” account can be done in the app by clicking the “Delete Account” button found in the “Settings” tab. Deleting your account will both unlink your account, deleting your “sensitive data”, and also scrub any residual “non-sensitive” data present. In summary, signing out deletes the “sensitive” data from your device and deleting your account permanently destroys all of your "MathemaTackle" data.
 

Other Information:
“MathemaTackle” does not use any third-party software or services to collect analytics on users. However, on a user bug, “Apple” and “Google” (Firebase) may collect analytics on your device on the bug in order to fix it. “MathemaTackle” collects “non-sensitive” in-app data (such as total number of questions answers, number of questions answered correctly, etc.), but does not record any app usage information (such as number of function executions by user, etc.) in order to improve and maintain the “MathemaTackle” service. “MathemaTackle” will have web views through the "TacklED, LLC" web application. “MathemaTackle” will have Android views through the Android application currently in development. “TacklED” products may contain links to other websites, and our software is not linked to these websites. For more information, view their posted privacy policies. “TacklED” products do not contain ads. “TacklED” may send emails about any “TacklED” products, services, updates, and password resets.
 

Children’s Privacy:
All “TacklED” products, including "MathemaTackle" are not intended for personal use by children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, please consult with your parents and use their credentials to get access to our products. If “TacklED” finds out that a child under the age of 13 has an independent account with one of our products, we will delete their account and data. If a parent, or guardian, becomes aware of their child using our services and wishes to remove their data, contact “TacklED” and the account and its corresponding data will be deleted. In summary, children under the age of 13 may use “TacklED” products for their learning benefit as long as they use their parent's credentials and have parental approval (at the discretion of the parents involved).

“TacklED” & “MathemaTackle”, however, are not liable for your data. You, as a user, utilize our software at your own risk. We reserve the right to modify or amend this policy at any time; especially as “MathemaTackle” and the “TacklED” company continue to add new policies in order to ensure the future security and privacy of your data. “TacklED” will contact all users of changes to this policy. All changes to the policy are effective immediately once posted on this page.
 

“TacklED” & “MathemaTackle” will not sell your data. “TacklED” & “MathemaTackle” will not access your data without your explicit permission.
